ALL BODO STUDENTS UNION CHANDIGARH UNIT 

 The Chandigarh unit of All Bodo Students’ Union (ABSU) organized its 2nd Annual Convention-cum-Freshmen Social Day on 20 October 2017 at Dhillon farm,Nayagaon,Chandigarh.

The Day long event commenced with hoisting of ABSU flag by Ringu Basumatary, president of Chandigarh unit ABSU, morning prayer and homage to the martyrs. Body formation and annual report was also part of the  event, which concluded with a colorful cultural evening.The Main Objective of the Programe are to build Unity among the students of our community and others maintain disciplines cooperation and communication among the students .There are arround 350 Students attending in the Programe  along with students from North east and  other parts of the Country. Mr Janaklal Basumatary(IRS), Retired principal commissioner Income Tax, was the chief guest and Thaifung Basumatary , president of ABSU Delhi unit, Arunachal Students Union President & Secretary was the honourable guest of Honour  of theProgram.
